·         2nd day: Bergamo – Sotto il monte – Desio. Visit of the city. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon the group leaves for Sotto il Monte; where Pope Roncalli lived. deperture and arrive to Desio. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

·         3rd day: Desio – Milano – Place of origin. After breakfast  visit of the Basilica, the birthplace and the museum of Pope Pius the 11th. Deperture to Milan. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon  visit of the Ambrosiana Picture-gallery, the Cathedral and the Basilica of St. Ambrose. Accomodation, Dinner and overnight.

·         1^st day DEPARTURE PLACE – PIETRELCINA – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO: Meeting of the group at 6:30 a.m. and departure by bus to Pietrelcina, where lived Padre Pio. Visit to Father Pio’s birth house and to his Parrish. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon transfer to S. Giovanni Rotondo. Accomodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

·         2^nd day SAN GIOVNNI ROTONDO – EXCURSION TO MONTE SANT’ANGELO: After breakfast, excursion to Monte Sant’Angelo, a bird's eye view on the Gargano; visit to San Michele Arcangelo Sanctuary and to the Cave. In the afternoon, visit to Father Pio’s places: Sanctuary of Saint Mary of the Grace, Cript with Father Pio’s grave, Father Pio’s cell, the Via Crucis and visit to the yard of the new sanctuary designed by Renzo Piano. Opportunity to reserve a Holy Missal in the cript.

• 3^rd day SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – LANCIANO – DEPARTURE PLACE: After breakfast, departure to Gargano, Mattinata, Pugno Chiuso, Arco di san Felice; lunch in Vieste and visit to the town. Return to Rome.

UMBRIA: NORCIA, ASSISI, CASCIA, FERENTILLO

·         1st day - NORCIA:In the morning  arrival at Norcia, ancient city of Etruscan origin. It is situated in the hearth of Valnerina and of the National park of Monti Sibillini. Tour of the city, where San Bernardo and Santa Scolastica lived, known from many centuries for the pork-meat processing and sausages, besides the delicious tartufi. You would taste its typical products. Free lunch. In the afternoon tour of Preci, a medieval village and visit to the Sant' Eutizio Abbey, famous for monks historical Scuola Chirurgica. In the evening, accomodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight..

·         2nd day - ASSISI: After breakfast departure to Assisi and tour of the medieval city, known for S. Francesco Basilica, it is composed by two churches built one on the other. The first church includes the Saint Tomb, the second one includes 28 frescos by Giotto  that represent the Saint's life. Free lunch. In the afternoon visit of Santa Maria degli Angeli, in this we find the famous Cappella della Porziuncola, the Convento di San Damiano, where the Crucifix (now in Santa Chiara) spoke to S. Francesco. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

·         3rd day - CASCIA - ROCCAPORENA:After breakfast departure to Cascia, situated on Sant'Agostino hill, where Santa Rita was born. Visit to her famous Sanctuary. Free lunch. In the afternoon tour of Roccaporena, visit of the 2 houses of the Saint, Church of St. Montano (where she married), the Orto del Miracolo, the Lazzaretto, Via Crucis and the Scoglio della Preghiera. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

• 4th day - FERENTILLO - CASCATE DELLE MARMORE:After breakfast departure to Ferentillo and visit the curious Mummies Museum. There  bodies from last century are preserved, by the physical and chemical features of the ground in the Cripta di Santo Stefano. Visit of the Abbazia of San Pietro in Valle, in which are contained frescos of the XII-XIV-XV centuries , a votive stele and roman sarcophagi. Free lunch. In the afternoon departure to Cascata delle Marmore.
