NORTHERN ITALY HISTORICAL MANSIONS
Villa
Giona (Verona)
Villa Giona is one of the most prestigious historical
mansions of the Valpolicella area, situated in a green oasis, ten minutes
away from the center of Verona and Lake Garda. Surrounded by a romantic park
and a vineyard garden, the six rooms and the three apartments of the 16th
century villa offer its guests comfort and tranquillity to discover a sense
of relaxation and pleasure in an original and exclusive setting. Breakfast is
served in the "loggia". In the medieval tower where the wine
exhibition "enoteca" is located, Allegrini wines and savory
products of Valpolicella area can be tasted and appreciated. It is a great
residence, where traditional Venetian hospitality pleasantly combines with
the desire for culture, art, noble country landscape and centuries of
experience in the eno-gastronomical field: the universal desire for Bonum
Vivere.
Villa Luppis (Pordenone)
Villa Luppis is set in a park
between the provinces of Pordenone and Treviso, only 40 minutes drive from
Venice. In 1200 it was a monastery; in 1800 it was turned into the superb
country villa of the Luppis Family. Today, after a clever and detailed
intervention by the Luppis heirs, it has become a comfortable hotel with a
gourmet restaurant and a relaxing piano bar. To facilitate and enrich the
stay of its guests, it has also arranged important additional services:
"Guide to the territory, Shopping Card, Green-fee, Ski Pass, Shuttle Bus
to/from Venice".
Palazzo
Fieschi (Genova)
The "Palazzo dating back to
15th Century, between 1565 and 1569 was the late medieval fort of Count
Ettore Fieschi. In 1856 it was transformed into an hotel with thermal bath
nearby. From this time to nowadays the Palazzo has always been opened to its
guests, who choose Palazzo Fieschi for its tranquillity and its historical
atmosphere. In fact, Palazzo Fieschi is the oldest hotel on the Liguria
Coast.
Palazzo
Fieschi is an Historical Residence with 20 comfortable rooms furnished in XIX
style. The excellent restaurant, managed directly by the owners, offers a
typical and international made of local products. The hotel is also the ideal
place to organise small meetings, business dinners, or special events.
Castello
Rosso (Cuneo)
Castello Rosso dates back to the fifteenth century and once belonged
to Conti Crotti Imperiali. It is a wonderful example of castle architecture
and lies in a big century-old park, covered in every season by the most
different kind of flowers, plants and trees, such as the oriental sophora
which rises at the main entrance of the castle.
Now
it presents itself to the public as "villa di Castello Rosso” - once
belonged to the noble Conti Crotti Imperiali and important evidence of the
sixteenth century local art - has become an extraordinary four-star structure
which rises in the small village of Costigliole Saluzzo, near Cuneo.
The
castle includes a well - cared for, elegant four - star hotel, a meeting
room, a refined restaurant, a well-equipped beauty and health centre and many
other facilities. All these features make your holiday more delightful.
